“I had the good karma to study for many years with Manu, having an experience that changed my life. His teachings are profound, authentic, like happens very rarely now.” Giorgio Savigliano.

“I met Manu in Rishikesh in 2008 at a time I was desperately looking for some guidance and then stayed studying with him for a few years on and off. Manu showed me by personal example how to take spiritual upheavals not too seriously, how to ground myself in common reality and the lower dan tian, how to keep balance between “internal” and “external” worlds, how to treat my body more gently and attentively, and how not to follow spectacular yoga ideals and images. Never acting as an authoritative teacher but always as a friend, who also happened to have a lot of experience in those matters, Manu helped me in my life in so many ways that I am so thankful he became part of my path.” Yair Hilu.

“Manuel was my yoga instructor during the year I lived in Santiago, 2011-2012. I can attest from many classes that his deeply spiritual nature, intuitive love for the students, and solid grounding not only in yogic methods, but in Buddhist and Hindu philosophy and spiritual practices gave me the feeling that I was in masterful hands when participating in his coursework. I have taken yoga from others who may be well versed in technique, but it's rare to find a teacher who has such a degree of preparation for teaching yoga as a transformational practice.” Eric Graham.

“I was fortunate and lucky to study with Manu for 28 days. His Yoga Teacher Training Intensive has been a fantastic experience for me, even better than what I could have dreamed of. I recommend his program to every single one out there who is interested in hatha yoga, spirituality and meditation. Manu is a very wise person, who has an almost limitless knowledge of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Tibetan yoga and tantra. The peace and calmness he radiates combined with his knowledge, years of experience, and the patience of an angel, makes of his program an unforgettable experience. The 28 intensive days, filled up with theory and practice, are organized in such a way that it is impossible to get bored, neither to feel overwhelmed. The days passed by without noticing and even without getting tired. Every single day has been a valuable gift to me and Manu has a special place in my heart forever.” Lisanne Beerenfenger.

“Training to become a yoga teacher with Manu has allowed me to improve on various aspects of my being. The meditative yoga he teaches has helped me to relax and unblock my body, attaining the necessary flexibility and tone for a more effective meditation practice. Because of this, I feel I have made great progress toward spiritual unfolding. Not only has the quality of my life improved substantially but also the meaning of life. On the one hand, Manu Yoga constantly points toward transcendence, and, on the other, the quality of Manu’s personal surrender, his love, makes of his classes a sublime experience.” Erik Cortés.

“During the training I did with Manu in Santiago, Chile new areas of development were unveiled to me. The practice of simple asanas done with refined awareness gave me what it looks like the sweet joy of Yoga in this stage of development. The training in meditation was crucial to acquire this state. Manu’s way of transmitting is very natural and easy to follow, providing the thrust to practice and teach this knowledge. I am thankful to every moment of the training. Ohm Shanti.” Sylvia Morales.

“Manu, my teacher of Himalayan Yoga, Hatha Yoga Prana Vidya, subtle and delicate, taught me a new way of breathing and opened up for me the door to realities ever so subtle.” Gema Cabrera.

Transmuting Anger workshop

"What has worked for me is the skill [I learned] to remain mindful just in the moment when I'm about to get angry, and today I can control it. In fact, I can disrupt the process of anger escalation and shortly after that anger mellows down before it could "explode." Donald Bennet.

"The foremost thing I got from this workshop, which I never forgot, was to clearly discern when anger is beginning to emerge. This has been very helpful to me." Francisca Meza.

Transcending Value-Based Judging workshop

"The final exercise effectively made it difficult for me to emit a harsh judgment, which demonstrated to me how much emotions could affect "rational" judging. That was a beautiful practical experiment to prove it." Marco Canepa.

"When you asked us to remember that fact [which usually generates strong anger and harsh judging in my mind] after meditation, to be honest I could only feel little [negativity] about it. It was as if I lacked enough (negative) energy to become angry about that. It made me think that negative judging and our bad or violent actions have to do with keeping negative energy within ourselves--with keeping a substrate from which they may generate. After meditation it was impossible for me to get angry. Even more so, I didn't even bother much about it, I would not engage that." Miguel Lagos.

"Thank you very much for your workshop, it was an incredible experience. Based on the exercise we did of trying to judge after meditating, it is enriching to realize how difficult or impossible it was to do so. It is wonderful to feel the sensation of relief and release [that it comes after that]. Truly, it was very, very liberating [to see] how just with the power of relaxation one could avoid feeling upset about things." Daniel Rivera.

"After meditating, the negative judgment we had formed about the situation seemed to have less power. (The meditation) diminished the (perceived) importance of the facts and finally it was like, "it doesn't matter, I won't bother about that". Ana Rivera.

To Be is the Blissful Reality of Mind. To Do is the Activity of Love. Everything we Do is Just a Game to Recognize the Activity of Love.

There  are no people, things, or circumstances which are good or bad, beautiful or ugly; it is only our emotionality toward them what is there. Wisdom is to remain free from judging, aware of one's emotions. Alchemy is to transmute emotions, maintaining a homeostasis of harmony and wellbeing. Meditation is to recognize the thought that generates the emotion, observing it with equanimity. Mahamudra is to wake up after dying, having a vision of what has always been, is, and will be.
