Yoga Teacher Training Program on Meditative Hatha Yoga

The Yoga Teacher Program on Meditative Hatha Yoga is offered as two, three, and four-week intensives and as a year-long or two-year-long programs to become a meditative hatha yoga teacher. It is focused on the transpersonal and eclectic teaching of yoga philosophy, psychology, and practice, using a blend of Hindu and Buddhist yoga concepts and techniques. The program is registered with Yoga Alliance of USA and offered in the 200-hr format.





Modality A: Meditative Hatha Yoga Instructor Training, focused on the transpersonal and eclectic teaching of the philosophy, psychology and practice of Yoga, using a blend of Hindu and Buddhist concepts and techniques. There are requirements of: assistance, punctuality and evaluations. One is certified as a Meditative Hatha Yoga Instructor in the Mahamudra Program of Yoga Alliance United States.

Modality B: Work of Transpersonal Interior Growth, from the teaching of Yoga and the Buddhist and Hindu philosophies. The attendance is optional and the student is not obliged to undergo evaluations. The student may change from Modality A to Modality B if deemed appropriate and from Modality B to Modality A only after ninety (90) hours of practical sessions and if attendance, punctuality and evaluations allow for it.

INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION.  ( Our program is registered by Yoga Alliance USA, international institution recognized worldwide, including all European and Asian countries, unlike other Yoga Alliances which are specific to the country where they were born. Yoga Alliance USA certifies 200 hours. In countries such as USA, Canada and Australia, only teachers accredited by Yoga Alliance USA are accepted.


Manu, PhD, Lama, E-RYT 500, lived in India from 2000 to 2011. From 2000 to 2007 he participated in retreats of Tibetan Buddhist meditation. He took a three-year retreat of Tantric preliminaries, Fivefold Path of Mahamudra, and Six Yogas of Naropa.

From 2007 to March 2011, Manu worked as director of the Meditation Research Institute of the Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama ashram in Rishikesh, where he offered biofeedback training and taught how to use the biofeedback to Gurukulam (Vedic Academy) students. He did research in the areas of yoga, breathing, meditation and attention levels in advanced meditators of Buddhist traditions (Tibetan, Vipassana-Goenka) and Hindu (Himalayan Tradition, Isha Foundation), using state-of-the-art electroencephalogram technology and analyses.

He is also a practitioner and teacher of yoga and meditation and regularly offers lectures, workshops, and courses on various related topics in Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, and South America since 2010.

Giorgio, MA of Yoga Education, has been teaching yoga in northern Italy (Lombardy) and southern Switzerland (Ticino) since 2001 and is deemed an experienced, senior teacher in his field. Giorgio has been approved by Yoga Alliance's Senior Credentialing Manager to teach in this program. His credentials include:

*Diploma ISFY Higher Institute of the Italian Federation of Yoga recognized by the European Union Of Yoga (4 years);
*Master in Yoga Education with the support of UNICEF and the University of Bologna for teaching Yoga to children and schools (2 years got in 2003);
*EFOA Institute Assistant in the 3 years retreats in Tibetan Buddhism in Schneverdingen Germany;
*Four years of Tibetan yoga studies in India with Manu.
*Diploma from Satyananda Yoga Center in Milan following the parameters of the Bihar School of Yoga in Monghyr (India). At the same school, he specialized in different specific branches of Yoga like: Certificate in Chakra studies/Prana Vidya/ Satyananda School;
*Certificates studies with Willy Van Lysebeth;
*Mentor (assistant teacher) The Teacher Training Program of the Himalayan Institute in Rishikesh (India). Several months training at the same institution following the teachings of Swami Veda Bharati;
*Diploma of Traditional Thai massage, traditional foot massage , therapeutic massage, and oil massage at the institute Waht Po in Bangkok (Thailand), recognised by the Thai Government;
*Diploma of Uzichil (Traditional massage of Kerala) from the CVN Kalari, a branch of T.Sudhakaran Gurukkal in Calicut (Kerala-India);
*certificate 1 year study of Pranayama under the guidance of Francoise Berlette (Andrè Van Lysebeth's step daughter).

The total class hours for certification in this program are 206.25 contact hours. Plus 23.75 hours of homework, which totals 230 certified hours.

This teacher training program has had seven versions, being the current one the seventh:

Year 2013 - First Version. Erik and Lisanne graduated in Mahamudra, 243 hrs.
Year 2014-2015 - Second Version: Coté, Yasmín and Nany graduated in Mahamudra, 243 hrs.
Year 2015-2016 - Third Version: Groups I, II and III in Lastarria graduated. Group IV ended, 243 and 200 hrs.
Year 2016-2017 - Fourth Version: Group V graduated in Lastarria, 243 and 200 hrs.
Year 2017 - Fifth Version: Groups VI and VII graduated in Lastarria, 200 hrs.
Year 2018 - Sixth Version: Group VIII graduated in Lastarria, 200 and 204 hrs.
